US one sheet for HEAD OVER HEELS (Joan Micklin Silver, USA, 1979)
Designer: TBD
Poster source: MoviePosterShop
HEAD OVER HEELS was re-released with a new ending and a new title in 1982. As The New York Times reported at the time, “‘Chilly Scenes of Winter’ captures the austere mood, the subdued emotional climate registered in Ann Beattie’s stories. Restoring the original title restores a sense of diminished emotion and thwarted expectation familiar to her audience.” CHILLY SCENES OF WINTER will play on 35mm in the series Celluloid Dreams at New York’s IFC Center on November 12.
